Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,243 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Renal Medical/Surgical RN – Georgia Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 or 48 hours guaranteed weekly; 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation; no call required Highlights: Renal Med/Surg specialty unit caring for adults to geriatric patients Manageable nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 in a 49-bed unit with average daily census of 48 Epic EMR system required; Pyxis and SBAR communication tools utilized Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Maximum 7 days RTO available; assignments range from 8 to 19 weeks First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 1 year of RN experience Requirements: Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submittal) Current BLS certification Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Epic charting system experience required Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred Community hospital experience preferred Proficiency in renal care, telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, PCA pumps, and central/PICC line management Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred Willingness to work major holidays as assigned per facility policy Flexibility to float as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality renal medical/surgical care in a well-supported environment with robust interdisciplinary collaboration.
