The unit primarily handles patients with neurological needs and utilizes standard med-surg equipment with EMR-Cerner systems. Responsibilities: Performing tasks such as Foley insertion and IV start. Floating to other med-surg floors as needed. Managing patient ratios of 5:1 on day shifts, stretching to 6:1 and occasionally 7:1. Requirements: Current ACLS and NIH certifications.
