Senior Living Physical Therapist (Full Time) at Brookdale Therapy Asheville summary: The Senior Living Physical Therapist provides individualized rehabilitation treatment plans and evaluates patient progress in a senior living setting. Responsibilities include maintaining and utilizing therapy equipment safely, establishing treatment goals, and completing patient discharge summaries. The role emphasizes patient care, autonomy, career growth, and adherence to medical and safety protocols. We are hiring for Physical Therapist to join our team in Senior Living. Is aware of and adheres to precautions (THR, TKR, Cardiac, Wound, etc.). • Utilizes the following safe treatment techniques: transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, paraffin bath, cryotherapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc. • Completes D/C summary on each patient on their final visit to outpatient PT. • Current Physical Therapist licensure in state of practice. • Current CPR certification is required. • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
