Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job

Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1. Charge experience preferred
2. Telemetry experience 3. Skilled in management of dysrhythmias
and blood product administration Description: The position requires
a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. First-time travelers
are accepted. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics.
Patients are admitted to the unit via direct admission from
associated clinics, physician's offices, urgent cares, or other
hospitals and/or via an emergency room admission. The patient
population consists of intermediate-level medical-surgical
patients. Diagnoses include dysrhythmias, congestive heart failure,
acute onset stroke or stroke symptoms that do not require TPA or
critical care, acute coronary syndrome, and myocardial ischemia.
The work environment is fast-paced with a focus on patient
throughput while providing patient-centered care. A strong teamwork
dynamic is essential. All patients are monitored on hardwire
telemetry and self-monitored by the RN. The nurse-patient ratio is
1:4, with a total of 12 beds in the unit. Unit systems utilized
include electronic health records and medication management
systems. Availability to float within the facility and scope of
practice as needed is required. The nurse is expected to work major
holidays as needed, with specific arrangements made for holiday
time off. Full compliance with all requirements is necessary to
