Georgia Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36
or 48 hours guaranteed weekly; every other weekend required
(average 6 weekends per 13-week contract); no call required
Highlights: Primary ICU float position with exposure to multiple
critical care environments including Neuro ICU, CVICU, PCU, and
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units Diverse patient population ranging
from adults to geriatrics with all potential critical care
diagnoses Epic EMR system used facility-wide with Pyxis and SBAR
protocols Patient ratios: 1:2-3 in ICU, 1:4-5 in PCU, 1:5-6 in
Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units 13-week assignment with
maximum 7 days RTO available (blackout during Spring Break, April
4-12) First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of
experience Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact State RN license
(must be in hand at time of application) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH
Stroke Scale certifications Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing
experience Epic charting system experience required Proficiency in
ventilator management, arterial line management, hemodynamic
monitoring, ICP monitoring, EVD management, dysrhythmia
interpretation, and central line care Experience with neuro and
surgical intensive care preferred Ability to float across multiple
units as needed Two supervisory references (Manager level or above)
required at time of submission Flu vaccine required
(medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
Full compliance documentation must be completed by the Tuesday
