Telemetry RN – Georgia Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Augusta,
Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week; every other weekend required; holiday
coverage as needed; floating within facility may be required
Highlights: Cardiac telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric
patients with CHF, MI, chest pain, dysrhythmias, and other complex
cardiac conditions Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 on a 16-bed unit
with Epic EMR (required) No call requirements; opportunity for
first-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, device implant, and cardiac
surgery patient management Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips
without titration; IV insulin protocols with titration
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams,
pharmacy, rapid response, and respiratory services Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of
application Minimum 2 years of acute care telemetry or step-down
nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
certifications required Proficiency with Epic charting system is
mandatory Experience managing cardiac drips (milrinone, dobutamine,
amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, heparin) without titration
Competency in telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management,
post-cardiac interventions, and wound care Two supervisory
references from Manager level or above required Flu vaccine
