About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health
to find a qualified Ambulatory Care RN in Charlotte, North
Carolina, 28204! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours
per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, OCN
preferred Must-Have: Outpatient oncology experience required. EPIC
experience required. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed.
Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly lead to
cancellation. This role does not involve chemotherapy or infusion
administration. Nurses are primarily in a triage position with
oncology experience. They coordinate care and provide patient
education. Nurses will speak with patients and discuss care
coordination. They will make follow-up calls to patients for
results. The daily patient visit ratio is 20 visits per day across
4 rooms. Nurses will be assigned to 1-2 providers for care
coordination. They may need to float to similar centers/clinics as
needed. There are no weekend call requirements. Patient diagnoses
include medical oncology and non-malignant hematology. The
preferred skills include administration of chemotherapy and
starting IVs. Candidates must bring their own stethoscope.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary support is expected. Candidate
references from previous employment are preferred. The ideal
candidate will have strong patient/family education and support
skills. Compliance with all testing and vaccination requirements is
