Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Jefferson, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,006 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified OR RN in Jefferson, North Carolina, 28640! Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Jefferson Start Date: March 16, 2026 Location: Jefferson Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with on-call availability as needed (30-minute callback requirement) Highlights: Diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, GYN/OB, and urology procedures 1:1 patient ratio in a well-equipped ambulatory OR setting No weekend requirements or mandatory floating Meditech charting system with Omnicell medication management 24-hour comprehensive orientation with scrubs provided Set schedule with local candidates welcome Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required Experience in general OR settings including colonoscopy, EGD, and laparoscopic-assisted procedures Proficiency with appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, and hernia repair Competency in gynecological procedures including hysterectomy, C-sections, D&C, and bilateral tubal ligation Experience with ophthalmology procedures (cataract extraction/implant, vitrectomy) Orthopedic experience including ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, joint replacement, and fracture management Skills in urological procedures, cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation, infection control, and PACU recovery Meditech charting system experience required NC or Compact state nursing license (pending acceptable for submission, required in hand at start) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This OR position offers an excellent work-life balance with weekday-only scheduling and no weekend commitments.
