Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 40
hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Staff /n The
purpose of this position is to provide Echo and Vascular lab
examinations to patients of all ages - Performs and monitors
echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. - Calculates,
measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed
for review and interpretation by physicians. - Communicates with
physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes
in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing - Under the
guidance of the manager of the vascular laboratory, assists in the
coordination of all activities performed in the laboratory,
including performing vascular imaging studies. - Assess the
patient’s condition, prepares examination room, maintains equipment
and supplies. - Performs related duties as required. - Required: -
Education: Associate degree and graduate of accredited CAAHEP or
diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of
documented competency/clinical experience. - Experience: 1 year of
job-related experience in clinical setting. -
Licensure/Certification: - Registered with the ARDMS, RVT -
Certified in the modalities in which employee works - American
Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days
of hire. - Preferred: - Experience: 2 years of job-related
experience in clinical setting. - Licensure/Certification:
ICVALARDMS RVT certification is required within 1 year of
