Job Description Job Description Sterile Processing Manager Location: Asheville, NC Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (flexible based on department needs) Salary: $52,000 – $90,000 (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case Relocation Assistance: Starting at $5,000 Full-Time | Permanent | Comprehensive Benefits Package Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Manager to support a high-performing surgical services department. This facility is recognized among America’s 50 Best Hospitals , holds Magnet® designation, and is a Level II Trauma Center. The Sterile Processing Manager will oversee approximately 80 FTEs and 7 Team Leads supporting Endoscopy, OR, CVOR, L&D, and inpatient/outpatient procedural areas. The department utilizes the SPM Workflow system to ensure efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Director to oversee daily department operations Support staff recruitment, retention, training, and competency validation Ensure compliance with sterilization standards, aseptic technique, and infection prevention protocols Maintain instrumentation quality and workflow efficiency across all service lines Integrate sterile processing operations with OR and specialty departments Lead quality improvement initiatives and recommend resource optimization strategies Promote collaboration and positive engagement across clinical teams Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for accreditation surveys Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Completion of a Two-Year Surgical Technology program OR CRCST certification (IAHCSMM/HSPA) OR CSPDT certification Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong knowledge of OR instrumentation, aseptic technique, and infection control standards Experience with SPM Workflow system preferred Surgery Center leadership experience will be considered For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
