Experience: Minimum 2 years required; First timers accepted
License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS and
ACLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: Telemetry unit experience
with adult to geriatric patient population Familiarity with Epic
charting system Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no
titration) Experience with monitoring dysrhythmias and managing
cardiac conditions Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a
telemetry unit. This unit serves adults to geriatric patients with
various cardiac conditions. Common diagnoses include CHF, MI/chest
pain, dysrhythmias, hypo-/hypertension, and sepsis. The nurse will
be responsible for monitoring patient telemetry and administering
appropriate care. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of
1:4-5. Candidates must have hands-on experience managing cardiac
drips, including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, and heparin.
The ideal candidate will also have skills in IV management,
monitoring blood gases, and providing post-cardiac recovery care.
The role requires compliance with hospital protocols and
participation in interdisciplinary team support. The Registered
Nurse will be expected to work major holidays as scheduled.
Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, including weekend
