Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our progressive healthcare team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing compassionate and comprehensive rehabilitation services under the supervision of our licensed Physical Therapists. Assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. Review patient status and modify interventions as appropriate under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Document patient responses and progress on appropriate forms. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery. Maintain clean and organized work and therapy areas. Participate in clinical conferences to discuss and strategize patient care with other staff members. Understanding of physical therapy modalities and techniques Ability to operate and maintain therapy equipment Strong observational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant CPR and BLS certification
