Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,541 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Certification is mandatory Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must have CVOR experience 2 travel assignments completed, no exceptions Description: Certification is mandatory. Must have CVOR experience and 2 travel assignments completed, no exceptions. The facility is licensed for 815 beds. Candidates should possess excellent documentation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area. Good critical thinking skills are essential. Advanced skills needed include large-bore IV starts, hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, and assistance with various line placements. Candidates will be required to transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction, positioning, and skin prep. A required uniform will be provided.
