Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,246 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Certification is mandatory Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - CVOR experience - 2 travel assignments completed Description: Certification is mandatory. Must have CVOR experience and two travel assignments completed. Experience must include critical care. Pre-op experience is a plus. Skills required include excellent documentation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with interdepartmental teams are essential. Advanced skills needed: large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assistance with arterial and central line placements, and epidural placement. Candidates will be involved in transporting patients to the operating room, assisting with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep. Dress code: Required uniform is provided. Successful candidates will be part of a high-acuity patient area with a supportive staffing structure. This facility is recognized for safety and quality care, reflecting excellent patient outcomes.
