Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n CT Technologist - CT Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4 x 10-hour shifts with various scheduling /n• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs /n• Take call when necessary /n• Perform CT scans and technical procedures requiring independent judgment /n• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history /n• Administer contrast media following established procedures /n• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results /n• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment /n• Demonstrate competence with venipuncture and power injection operation /n• Adjust technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality /n• Transport and position patients on procedure tables /n• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality control tests /n• Complete studies in RIS and send to PACS immediately after completion /n• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS /n• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required /n• Less than 1 year CT experience preferred /n• Must be able to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environment /n• Excellent communication and customer service skills required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced diagnostic imaging services.
