Anderson (zip code 29621) offers a welcoming community, beautiful parks, and proximity to scenic Lake Hartwell — an excellent location for travel nursing and South Carolina nursing jobs./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Anderson, SC 29621 — Telemetry nursing jobs in Anderson, South Carolina/n - Setting: 5 South Pulmonary/Stepdown Telemetry Unit (26 beds) — cardiac telemetry / step-down unit/n - Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN)/n - Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)/n - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/n - Start Date: April 6, 2026/n - End Date: July 6, 2026/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 - $1,840 per week/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Med/Surg RN experience (2 years preferred) — telemetry nursing experience highly desired/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; pending license accepted for travel RN roles/n - BLS certification required; ACLS preferred/n - Epic charting experience preferred — electronic health record (EHR) proficiency a plus/n - Ability to float within scope to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed/n - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide direct patient care on a busy telemetry unit, including continuous cardiac monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms/n - Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as COPD, pneumonia, CHF, pulmonary embolism, asthma, encephalopathy, and sepsis/n - Manage advanced respiratory support including tracheostomies, chest tubes, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, and negative pressure isolation/n - Start and maintain IVs, administer medications, and perform comprehensive nursing assessments/n - Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases (ABGs)/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response team/n - Float to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units as required to meet facility needs/n - Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic (preferred) and other EHR systems/n /n/n /n This opportunity is ideal for experienced Telemetry RNs and travel nurses seeking short-term contracts in South Carolina.
