Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,729 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Department License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS PALS Must-Have: Epic charting experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Emergency Room care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The emergency department is large and busy with high acuity. General Emergency Department (Non-Trauma) experience is required. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4 with a daily average of 165-175 patients. The unit is Stroke and STEMI certified. Candidates must have experience managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Skills in arterial line management and ICP monitoring are necessary. Candidates should be proficient in obtaining 12 lead EKGs and interpreting dysrhythmias. Experience with blood product administration, central line care, and management of ventilated patients is also required. The ability to manage mental health conditions and acute psychosis is essential. Travel experience is required. Local candidates will be considered.
