Job Details - Location: Anderson, SC 29621 (Anderson, South Carolina – travel nursing job) - Unit: 4 Center, Renal/Oncology Med Surg (Renal/Oncology Medical-Surgical / Telemetry) - Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (Travel Assignment) - Start Date: April 6, 2026 - End Date: July 6, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 - 07:15) - Hours per Week: 36 - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Floating: Required within scope to other Med Surg and Telemetry units - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1750-$1840/week Job Requirements - Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (2 years preferred) — oncology RN and medical-surgical experience preferred - Active Registered Nurse license (will consider candidates with pending license) - BLS certification required - Experience with renal failure, medical-surgical, telemetry, and oncology patients preferred - Chemotherapy/infusion experience or oncology certification (preferred) — infusion/oncology skills are a plus - Ability to float to other Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Renal/Oncology Med Surg unit, including cancer care and symptom management - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using accurate clinical documentation - Administer medications, treatments, and oncology therapies (including infusions/chemotherapy when applicable) as prescribed and per facility policies - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV/infusion teams, physical therapy (PT), respiratory therapy (RT), pharmacy, and social services - Float to other Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed to meet facility staffing and patient care needs - Maintain accurate patient records, participate in care planning, and support safe handoffs - Provide compassionate support, patient education, and family-centered care for patients and caregivers Experience the warmth and scenic beauty of Anderson, SC while advancing your oncology nursing career.
