Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites dedicated and compassionate Licensed
Practical Nurses to join our diverse team in the Medical-Surgical
department, serving patients with a variety of conditions on a
per-need basis. This role is pivotal in managing patient care,
administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety and
satisfaction. Our PRN nurses are integral to maintaining the high
standards of patient care that HCA Healthcare is known for,
providing support whenever needed. Provide direct nursing care in
accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of
HCA Healthcare. Monitor and record patient conditions as necessary.
Administrate medications and treatments accurately and in a timely
manner. Communicate with physicians/NPs, specialists, and other
medical professionals to provide optimal care. Guide and educate
patients and their families on treatment plans. Assist in the
assessment and evaluation of patient responses to treatments.
Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical environment. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under
pressure and in unpredictable situations. Proficiency in electronic
medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Licensed Practical
Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification.
