Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work with adult and geriatric patients requiring medical and surgical care in acute care setting /n• Provide care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and remote telemetry /n• Manage patients requiring peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis /n• Patient ratios of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends /n• Float requirements to 3rd floor or 4th floor med/surg tele units /n• Weekend coverage required as needed /n• 36-hour orientation program /n• Must complete one of the following: 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks OR 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, CPI /n• Must pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation - one chance to pass /n• Epic charting system experience preferred /n• 2 years of experience preferred, will consider 1 year candidates /n• Must be able to manage telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care, wound care, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and various other medical procedures /n• Shaving may be required to pass fit test onsite /n• Guaranteed hours based on signed contract /n• Attendance policy: missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation /n/n Facility: /n This medical center provides comprehensive acute care services with specialized units including medical surgical telemetry floors. The facility serves adult patients requiring various medical and surgical interventions, with particular expertise in cardiac monitoring and dialysis services.
