IAHCSMM/HSPA preferred Must-Have: - Experience in a busy SPD
covering various surgical services - Ability to serve as a
preceptor for peers and new employees - Bioburden error rate of
0.1% or less on a monthly basis - Ability to manage an average
surgical volume of 25-40 daily cases Description: Minimum
experience required is 4 years; first timers not accepted. The role
involves working in a busy surgical processing department that
covers multiple surgical specialties. Skills in sterilization,
assembly, and storage of medical supplies and equipment are
essential. Participants must maintain high standards for set
assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing, and
sterilizing surgical instruments. Collaboration with the
perioperative nursing staff is required to provide accurate and
timely sterile instrument sets and case carts. Candidates must be
able to follow written instructions and communicate effectively.
Occasional floating within sectors of sterile processing may be
required. Holidays: One major holiday falls during the assignment;
the traveler is expected to work it, and additional holidays may
also require availability. Full compliance is required to ensure
timely start dates. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to
