Surgical Tech Location: Asheville, NC Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Opportunity: Certified Surgical Tech CVOR Job Details: • Monday through Friday schedule from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM • Stay late 1-2 times per week for on-call requirements • 1:1 patient ratio in CV PreOp unit • Float within scope of practice and experience • CVOR experience and 2 travel assignments mandatory - no exceptions • Work with GE Carescape monitoring equipment and Fuji ultrasound • Use Cerner documentation system • Perform large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments • Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement • Transport patients to OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep • Work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity patient environment • Critical care experience required, PreOp experience preferred • Excellent documentation and communication skills with interdepartmental teams required • Strong critical thinking skills essential • BLS certification required • Unit-provided dress code/uniform Facility: This flagship healthcare facility is an 815-bed hospital recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades from 2020-2023, identifying it among the top 1% of hospitals nationally for clinical quality.
