Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Spartanburg, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,026 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 years preferred License: Pending License accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required Description: This position involves providing care in the Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Shifts are 10-hour days with alternating days off. Call requirements include after-hours or weekend cases. Patient ratios are 2 patients per nurse during the day. It is essential to perform pre-operative assessments and patient education. Maintaining patient safety is a priority throughout the perioperative process. Experience with various surgical procedures is beneficial, including orthopedic and general surgeries. Ability to recognize and manage dysrhythmias is required. A thorough understanding of medication administration, including emergency medications, is necessary. Proper monitoring of patients during recovery is critical for patient outcomes. Demonstrated capability to conduct airway assessments and manage central lines is expected. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is important for effective charting. The role requires flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment. It is crucial to execute effective pain management strategies post operatively.
