Radiology Tech Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,927 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift - Friday to Sunday Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: ARRT-R Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Good communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment Description: Facility has 874 licensed beds. It is a Level I Trauma and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma center. The facility also serves as a Teaching Hospital, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center. The average number of patients per day is between 350-400. A first-time traveler is accepted. Patient types include adults and pediatrics from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across a full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses. The ideal candidate should be confident in their clinical skill sets. Teamwork and a helpful attitude are strongly preferred. Department includes a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager. The team is diverse, ranging from new graduates to long-tenured teammates. Technology includes EPIC for EMR and equipment such as Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, and GE and Siemens R/F rooms. There is no floating between departments. Travelers should have a fixed schedule with no rotation between weekends and weekdays. Call requirements will have a fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates. Travelers will be expected to help with holiday coverage unless approved off in advance. Schedule cycles for travelers are 13 weeks with the same shift and times as agreed upon in the contract. Scrub colors for technologists are black.
