Facility: Sylva Valley Health & Rehab (Skilled Nursing Facility)
Schedule: Weekends only – 12-hour shifts (7a–7p and/or 7p–7a)
Employment Type: Part-Time / Weekend Program Position Summary Sylva
Valley Health & Rehab is hiring a Weekend House Nurse Manager to
provide strong clinical leadership and operational oversight on
weekends. This role is ideal for a confident nurse leader who can
support staff, manage priorities, and maintain smooth facility
operations when weekday leadership is off-site. What you’ll do
Serve as the clinical leader on duty for the building on weekends
Support charge nurses and CNAs with guidance, prioritization, and
problem-solving Respond to changes in condition , escalations, and
urgent clinical needs Coordinate admissions/returns (as
applicable), staffing adjustments, and shift coverage Ensure timely
documentation and follow-through on orders, labs, and treatments
Communicate effectively with providers, families, and on-call
leadership as needed Monitor safety: incidents, falls, skin
concerns, behaviors, and medication issues Help maintain a calm,
respectful culture and keep the building running smoothly What we

SNF/LTC experience strongly preferred Proven leadership skills
(charge nurse/shift supervisor/unit lead experience a plus) Strong
clinical judgment, calm under pressure, reliable attendance Ability
to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions quickly
