Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Augusta, GA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Adelphi Locums to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! • Profession: Physician • Specialty: Emergency Medicine • Job Type: Locums • Facility Location: Augusta, GA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Shift Schedule: 7am-5pm, 11am-9pm, 3pm-1am, 10pm-8am • Admissions: Yes • % of Practice: 95% Direct Patient Care, 5% Administrative Duties • Support Staff: PAs, NPs, RNs, LPNs, Health Technicians, Medical Support Staff Clerks • Procedures: - Central venous line placement - Arterial catheter placement - Emergency chest tube or needle thoracostomy - Peritoneal lavage - Defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion, - endotracheal intubation, - lumbar puncture, proctoscopy/anoscopy - Pericardiocentesis - Simple closed fracture and dislocation reduction, - Arthrocentesis, - Local/regional anesthesia, moderate and/or deep procedural sedation - Pericardiocentesis - Temporary pacemaker placement - Chest tube thoracostomy and cricothyroidotomy. • Office Equipment: Office space, telephones, pagers, work-stations and computers. • Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center • EMR: CPRS • Hospital Privileges required: Yes • Temporary Privileges available: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • MD/DO • Active unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States • BC in Emergency Medicine • BLS (AHA) • ACLS (AHA) • DEA Certificate • NPI Please note: Physicians who have ever had a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
