Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools. Also responsible for washing dishes, chinaware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning, and detailing equipment's etc. Maintains the kitchen, dish washing and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with local authority and hotel guidelines.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies


  • Foodservice background
  • Knowledge of basic food terminology
  • Basic math
  • Basic computer skills

    • Standing for long periods in a work environment that includes dust, grease, noise, heat, freezing temperatures, slippery floors, etc.

    • Repetitive use of hands, reaching/grasping, overhead work, pushing/pulling, handling of cleaning chemicals
