We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Java) to work remotely who possesses the following required skills and experience:Required Skill Sets:* Position will require the ability to obtain--a public--security--clearance* Spring framework concepts, Spring Boot* REST and SOAP web services* Authentication mechanisms (SAML, OAuth)* Multithreading (concurrency)* Java Message Service (JMS), Schedulers, workflow engines, Red Hat Process Automation Manager (RPA) (Blue Prism)* Git, Maven, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and Red Hat* Hibernate, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases* JMeter, and unit and functional testing* Experience in Agile development Experience Preferred:* Experience in containerization of Spring Boot microservices* Experience/knowledge in EFK, Kafka, AWS Cloud, and JBPM* Experience working with Docker containers* Experience with Operational Decision Management (ODM) for Rule TeamLocation: REMOTETM Floyd & Company offers a generous array of benefits, depending on the length of assignment.
