Individuals in this position are expected to use communication and project management skills to ensure project plans are well defined to include the needs of all stakeholders, timelines for deliverables are set and followed, and status updates are provided frequently as the projects progress.Responsibilities:Primary contact for managing the project execution schedule of HartnessCONNECT and organizing others in the development team around projects and shared objectives.Collaborate with internal and external stake holders such as customers, vendors, and functional areas to promote the value add and functionalities of the HartnessCONNECT product line as well as representing the team and its initiatives.Communicate and collaborate with customers in order to gain feedback to support customer backed innovation.Effectively manage and deliver quality results on multiple diverse tasks related to supporting the product line.Lead efforts and projects that utilize the ITW 80/20 toolbox to simplify and streamline processes related to supporting the HartnessCONNECT product line.Provide expertise and leadership for technical support in response to customer needs.Teach, Mentor, and Coach less experienced team-members and provide technical guidance on new product designs or design changes.Other duties as needed.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience and working within a cross functional engineering team.Ability to lead a team to meet established organizational goals, accomplish tasks, and drive project success.Advanced Computer Hardware and Software problem solving capabilitiesProficient in Software Development principlesExperience with Agile/SCRUM software development methodologiesDemonstrates attitude in influencing and leading teams and work collaboratively cross-functionally while consistently delivering on individual objectives.Strong ability to define a problem, determine root cause, and develop corrective action plan.Develops a range of technical solutions autonomously and in partnership with internal functions and external bodies (i.e. suppliers, vendors, and customers).Ability to clearly present technical information in and to lead project/team meetingsAbility to develop talent through coaching and mentoring to motivate others to excel.Demonstrated ability to lead and drive sustainable results through continuous improvement initiatives.Effectively applies project management skills.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.Ability to provide innovative solutions and operate with some ambiguityUnderstanding of shared risk and how to evaluate opportunities/risksWilling to travel when necessary (up to 10%).Preferred Qualifications:Excellent understanding of PLC programmingProficiency with web development (HTML, ASP.NET)Proficiency with database management (SQL)Proficient in .NET programming and utilizing Visual Studio IDEExcellent understanding and application of networking and security principalsAdditional InformationITW is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
