We are a locally run, family-oriented, proudly serving your community, and are looking for talented techs like you to grow with us!*WHAT YOULL DO** Perform essential maintenance, including DOT inspections on semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.* Clean and maintain assigned work areas, including common shop areas and facility grounds, e.g., maintain recyclables, address fluid spills, and organize bulk storage of tires and barrels.* Dispense vehicle fuels and other essential fluids.* Complete required forms and input required information into the fleet management information system in a timely manner.* Respond to disabled vehicles in the field during or after normal business hours.* Perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to: lubrication and oil changes; seat repair; brake, wheel, tire, and battery services; belt, hose, headlight, and basic component replacement.* Perform basic to intermediate skill-level repair work on fleet vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to the alternator, starter, water pump replacement, and auxiliary equipment installation.* Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical/electrical problems.* Perform DOT-mandated safety inspections on fleet vehicles.*WHAT WE OFFER YOU** Paid Time Off including holidays* 401(k) with company match after 90 days of employment* Free Dental and Vision Plan for Employee* Health Insurance* HSA plan* Disability Insurance* Life Insurance* Employee assistance program* Boot reimbursement programs* Tool reimbursement program* Family oriented company that believes in a true work/life balance* Save on commute costs take your truck home with you!* Most jobs within 30 miles of your home* Fuel card* Experienced team you can learn from* Locally-run, family-oriented business* Opportunities for growth in partner businesses nationwide* Hourly pay w/ incentives* Overtime opportunities* M-F w/ rotating on-call* Time and a half on holidays*COMPANY INFO*Deaton Fleet Solutions is an established, locally run maintenance business with a network of in-shop and mobile service centers that covers much of the Southeastern part of the US.
