Technician I Reports To: Store Manager Location: Statesville
Employment Status: Full- Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt This position
has typical work hours Monday – Friday from 7:30AM – 5:00 PM, with
Saturdays on an as needed basis. The Truck Tire Service Technician
is responsible for mounting, dismounting and balancing heavy
service truck tires, along with passenger and light truck tires.
Employees in this position will primarily be working inside the
shop area and must be focused on both safety and customer
satisfaction. Essential Functions and Tasks: Mount and dismount
new/used and retreaded tires on heavy service equipment, passenger
trucks and light duty trucks. Balance tires utilizing appropriate
equipment. Mount and dismount new/used customer wheels from
customer fleets. Responsible for various types of tire repairs.
Keep service area clean to enhance a safe work environment.
Responsible for following all safety regulations, processes and
procedures required by Parrish Tire Company, TIA, OSHA and NCDOL.
Must become (TIA) Certified. Communicate safety concerns and
customer problems with service manager or store manager
immediately. Must meet Parrish Tire Company and North Carolina
driving requirements prior to driving customer or company vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in a service
related industry Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Dependable -
Employee must be reliable, responsible and trustworthy, and
complete all assigned obligations. Attention to Detail - Employee
must be thorough in completing tasks and must always be aware of
potential safety issues. Cooperation - Employee must be pleasant
with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative
attitude. Integrity - Employee is required to be honest and
ethical. Self-Control - Employee is required to maintain composure,
keep emotions in check, control anger, and avoid aggressive
behavior regardless of circumstances. Communication - Employee must
provide courteous and clear written and verbal communication with
customers and co-workers. Physical Demands: Multi-limb Coordination
- coordinate two or more limbs while sitting, standing, or lying

order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules Depth

Strength - use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support
part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without
fatiguing Static Strength - exert maximum muscle force to lift,
push, pull, or carry objects of approximately 150 pounds Work
Environment: Warehouse is not climate controlled and is subject to
the temperature changes associated with the seasons. The above
