Job Description:

Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laser Operator, 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate laser cutting machines according to specifications and work orders Load and unload materials onto the machine safely Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Adjust machine settings to optimize cutting speed, power, and material efficiency Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and job orders Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards Document production data and report any machine issues to supervisors Qualifications: Previous experience operating laser cutting equipment Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Basic math and computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
