Staubli guarantees high quality, reliability and performance - our strong basis for the trusted partnership with our customers worldwide.Job Function:The Staubli Automotive Industry Specialist position is to ensure promotion of our global offer to the market:* Mono Couplings* Multi Couplings* Tool ChangersReports to:Regional Sales ManagerResponsibilities and Objectives:* Identify and analyze needs, suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client requirements.* Bring technical and commercial support to Territory Sales Engineers by:* Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.* Generate new sales by setting meetings with potential clients and proposing solutions that meet their objectives.* Negotiate/close orders and handle complaints and objections.* Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.* Develop customers' staff by providing technical information and training.* Organize and conduct workshops at customers, including ROI presentations.* Organize periodic market & customer trend analysis with regional sales team.* Monthly and Annual review of activity with Regional Sales Manager and/or National Sales Manager.* Coordination of market activity with RSM and Sales Engineer.* Liaison with Automotive Team Leader and Production Units to;* Provide status of key projects* Identify and discuss strategic customers and issues* Provide regular market activity reports* Identify needed product enhancements* Share competition intelligence* Ensure automotive CRM projects include all relevant information and are directed to all concerned Staubli BU's and contacts.* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attendance at educational workshops, review of professional publications, and establishing personal networks.* Participate on behalf of Staubli at exhibitions, conferences, open houses, OEM events, seminars, or other relevant events.* Participate at annual international Automotive Meeting (Europe or Asia).* Participate at Automotive exhibitions as required.* Stay current with new Staubli product and feature launches and, along with RSM, ensure Territory Sales Engineers are informed.* Develop regional marketing plan for Automotive Industry, with sales management and Marketing Dept.* Develop Corporate Intelligence Report, for accounts as directed by RM.* Produce a weekly call plan based around the following criteria:--Open Quotes, Open Projects, Web Leads, Exhibition Leads, and A and B Accounts.* Enter details of call plan in Outlook Calendar.* Generate a weekly call with the local sales engineer to advise your weekly plan.* To make all scheduled sales calls and prospect for new business opportunities as necessary per the plan.* Participate in a weekly call with the Market Group Leader, to discuss weekly activities in assigned market.* Certification and use of sales strategies developed by "Action Selling".* Submit weekly expense report per company policy, monitoring and controlling expenses in a responsible manner.* To enter all other relevant information in the CRM system as required by company policy. * Conduct business in all cases in a professional manner with the company's interest and welfare in mind.KEY ACCOUNTS - Directly responsible for these accounts in your area:* BMW Greer* Volvo Trucks* Volvo Cars Charleston* Mercedes CharlestonQualifications:* Engineering Degree Preferred* Willingness to travel all throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia* Experience in Automation or Automotive preferred
