Design trusted network solutions and necessary communications infrastructure to keep our jets flying!As a Senior Network Administrator partnering with the Japanese Air Self Defense Forces (JASDF) at Misawa Air Base, Japan, you will perform software and hardware management on the ALIS internal networks and devices network, which includes controlling, planning, allocating, deploying, coordinating, and monitoring the resources of the ALIS networks. You will also coordinate with local base agencies as necessary to facilitate the integration of ALIS nodes with base network infrastructure. Network administration tasks may include: network planning, predetermined traffic routing to support load balancing, configuration management (CM), fault management, security management, and performance management. As critical members of the F-35 Aeronautics Field Sustainment Operations Team, all ALIS Network Administrators must be able to: Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access Be willing and able to travel for military deployments/detachments both in country and out of country (ship and/or shore) for extended periods dependent upon operational needs.
