The role will report to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition and operate from our Greenville, SC office. The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of recruitment, including the sourcing of active and passive candidates through a variety of channels. This position is also responsible for providing support for administrative HR functions related to the recruitment process.How will you drive value within the organization?Create a thorough recruitment and interviewing plan for each open position based on collaboration with the hiring managers, including regular follow-up to discuss results and adjustments as neededSource, through various forms of advertising and/or vendor networks, to provide both active and passive quality candidates for all open positions within a timely mannerDevelop an online organizational presence in order to attract a diverse pool of candidates including development of social media and professional networking sites, suggesting improvements for the organization's website career page and researching alternative avenues for internet-based recruitingEstablish strong working relationships with all organizational leaders in order to provide top quality service during recruitment processCoordinate all pre-employment background review processes, ensuring selected candidates meet organizational standardsParticipate in organizing and implementing college recruiting initiativesResearch and participate in career fairs and networking events to increase awareness of company brandOwn administrative HR functions including onboarding, new hire orientation and other administrative duties as necessaryMaintain electronic records and files that support work performed, results, and outcomesParticipate in special projects as neededPerform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by managementWhat should you already know to be successful in this role? Minimum of bachelor's degree required. Internal candidates at the Coordinator (C3) level with commensurate GLS experience and a track record of sustained, top performance against company standards may be consideredMinimum of two (2) years of HR department and/or previous recruitment/staffing experience requiredPrior experience with sourcing passive candidates using, but not limited to, the following resources: LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, IndeedIntrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectivenessExceptional interpersonal skills: friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the businessExceptional oral and written communication skillsTeam player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as requiredExcellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively set and manage multiple conflicting prioritiesCommitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competenciesEmployment Requirements:Must be able to pass a criminal background checkThis is an exempt level position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times.
