The role will report to the Loan Servicing Manager and operate from our Greenville, SC office. The Bilingual Customer Service Coordinator will take ownership of and be responsible for delivering exceptional service and value to our customers by carrying out various customer service-related processes to assist in servicing active accounts.How will you drive value within the organization?Effectively handle and answer general customer inquiries as needed by phone or mail in an accurate and timely mannerUse investigative and active listening skills to assess each caller's situation, answer questions, and apply appropriate solutions to resolve the customer's questionsInitiate and follow up on insurance claims, including letters of guarantee, insurance proceeds and canceling back-end productsProcess all paid accounts and duties related to paid accounts based on state guidelines including title releases, refunds and ordering documents from our custodial file to be marked paid and mailed to customersComplete various state required certified letters and verify them for accuracySort and distribute incoming and outgoing mailScan and file documents into imaging systemVerify credit bureau disputesProvide support to the collections department as needed with paperwork filing for extensions, due date changes, and other various customer service-related requestsAdhere and comply with company and state required operating policiesParticipate in special projects as neededPerform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by managementWhat should you already know to be successful in this role? High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of one-year relevant customer service experience required; automotive industry preferred. Relevant experience can include title work, insurance, bankruptcy, and/or warranty experienceSpanish reading/writing/speaking skills are requiredStrong MS Office knowledge with good computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to maneuver in a Windows based environment; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as requiredDetail oriented and the ability to multi-taskMust be extremely organized be able to stay on track for upcoming time sensitive deadlinesExceptional interpersonal skills; professional and courteous oral and written communication skillsAbility to work with a diverse customer and workforce populationAssertive individual with effective investigative and follow up skillsWorking knowledge of the following preferred: bankruptcy documents, filings, and documentation; the repossession process; account handling; vendor communicationEmployment Requirements:Must be able to pass a criminal background checkSchedules fall within dept. hours of operation between 8am and 8pm, and are TBD.Remain in a stationary position 100% of the workdayConstantly operate a computer and other standard office equipmentTalk and hear to exchange accurate informationWhy should you work with us?GLS has been recognized for the past four consecutive years as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America by Inc. 5000.
