Job Summary

The customer support receptionist ensures that all public interactions with Circuit Board Medics are performed with respect, professionalism, and with the goal of serving the customer's best interest. One of our core values is to create a positive experience for every person that interacts with Circuit Board Medics. This position plays a key role in supporting a fast-paced environment to ensure quick turnaround.

Responsibilities and Duties

+ Serve as the first point of contact for local customers, including local inbound calls and walk-in service.

+ Respond to customer email, text, online chat, and make outbound calls to customers in a timely manner.

+ Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively.

+ Provide exceptional service to the customer that meets or exceeds all customer expectations.

+ Greeting Circuit Board Medics guests and helping them with check-in

+ Upholding our core values of credibility, ingenuity, people, grit, adaptability, excellence, passion, restoration, and ownership in all interactions.

+ Some administrative duties, as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

+ Required Qualifications

+ Problem solver - Each customer presents a unique opportunity to serve him/her well. Not everyone's needs are identical, so we must be able to offer a solution that works well for each situation.

+ Strong work ethic

+ Ability to work in a fast paced multi faceted environment

+ Ability to handle frequent interruptions and remain on task

+ Initiative/Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks on schedule

+ Proven oral & written communication skills

+ Proficiency with desktop computer system

+ Ability to type 45 wpm or higher

+ Desired Qualifications

+ 6 months customer service experience

+ 6 months call center and/or iOS support experience

+ Previous Sales/Customer Support experience preferred

+ Previous Chat experience preferred

+ Logical problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to utilize the client approach to troubleshooting

+ Organization and work prioritization skills

+ Continuously demonstrate a high sense of urgency

+ 2 or 4-year degree

+ Automotive troubleshooting experience

+ Appliance troubleshooting experience

Working Conditions

Circuit Board Medics was founded on a 1 day turnaround for standard repairs. This nurtures a fast-paced environment that requires a strong sense of urgency. The typical workday is 8:00AM - 5:00PM with a break for lunch.

+ Adoption Benefit ? CBM offers reimbursement of up to $5000 of qualified expenses incurred during the adoption of a child. (Only applicable to expenses that exceed the tax credit offered by the US Government.)

+ Paid Time Off ? PTO is accrued for each pay period at a rate of 2 weeks/year. PTO accrual increases to 3 weeks/annually after 5 years, and 4 weeks/annually after 10 years. Unused PTO carries forward each year with a maximum balance of 6 weeks.
