KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Support program focused on cybersecurity incident monitoring, response, forensics, risk management, program management, innovation, communications / outreach, architecture, and engineering services
  • Review and analyze Federal policies / legislation / mandates in support of a large DoD Cybersecurity Services Provider (CSSP)
  • Collaborate / gather information from various stakeholders such as: KPMG's Office of Governmental Affairs (OGA), Office of General Counsel (OGC), and other public policy resources in order to organize information and develop briefings
  • Developed briefings will be reviewed by the engagement lead and shared with DoD client

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year public policy experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Experience with reviewing / analyzing US Government public policy, and developing policy briefings
  • Demonstrable experience working within teams, and adaptable to paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Initial project will be located in Charleston, SC
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S. citizenship
