As an Atlas Business Development Representative (BDR) for Kinney Group covering specified mid-market and Fortune 1000 Commercial accounts, you will drive demand and set meeting engagements that support sales of Atlas platform subscriptions. This role is extensively complemented with Kinney Group targeted marketing for Atlas, which consistently provides marketing-qualified leads for Atlas subscriptions.

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Atlas platform and the business value equations that the platform brings to customers that are operating Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud technologies for security, IT operations, and application development use cases
  • Deliver targeted messaging associated with the Atlas platform and the returns on investment that Atlas provides to Splunk customers
  • Pursue the scheduling of Atlas introduction meetings that are specific to Kinney Group's defined methodology for sales of Atlas subscriptions
  • Collaborate with Kinney Group Atlas Account Executive (AE) sales team counterparts for the purpose of promoting Atlas and securing new Atlas customers
  • Meet and exceed all KPIs associated with demand generation activity and meeting
  • Effectively utilize both Kinney Group and platform partner engineering resources to effectively address both customer's technical and business requirements

    Experience and Expertise
    • 6+ months of proven success in an SDR/BDR role supporting sales Enterprise IT software or SaaS solutions to Fortune 1000 and upper-tier mid-market Commercial customers
    • Basic technical acumen associated with software and infrastructure solutions that operate within Commercial company data centers or within cloud environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) that support Commercial customers
    • A learning aptitude for gaining knowledge of cloud-computing technologies, automation, analytics, and data center fundamentals with an understanding of how these technologies can be utilized to solve mission challenges and program objectives within Fortune 1000 and upper-tier mid-market organizations
    • Experience and relationships with Splunk selling organizations considered a big plus
    • Strong learning aptitude, work ethic, and great cultural attitude are a must - commitment to learning and living the Kinney Group selling model and partner-centered approach
