Job Description:

This is a Hybrid role located in Greenville, SCOnly coming into the office for training and or meetings.Summary/Purpose The Supply & Demand Planner is responsible for managing specific customer forecasts, Inventory Management and Customer Service. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: ---Generate demand plan at an item/ship to level using all available data (orderbook, Business Plan, EDI, etc) ---Complete data for monthly consensus meetings with Sales and Marketing to refine demand plan and address any specific customer or market ---Present consensus data in monthly meetings and resolve any demand concerns ---Update and analyze all monthly metrics including, but not limited to forecast accuracy and sales performance against plan. ---Provide Baseline data for use in Business Planning Process ---Customer order entry and maintenance ---Customer Purchase Order verification ---Delivery verification and follow up ---Expedite shipments ---Maintain accurate customer records ---Manage the phase in/out of part numbers ---Maintain history records ---Process required internal documentation. ---Project monthly sales results for assigned customers ---Maintain customer files ---Review daily, weekly and monthly reports related to material requirements planning ---Analyze, review and determine material requirements and change orders required ---Process orders and changes for material that is required so support customer orders and approved forecasts ---Maintain inventory to budgeted levels ---Analyze customer forecasts and assist Demand Planning and Sales with demand plan and forecast adjustments ---Processing customer requests for quotation ---Complete costs and GPM analyses as required Supervisory Responsibilities: ---This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ---Previous customer service experience ---Previous purchasing or inventory management experience ---Good written and oral communication skills ---Good business planning and organizational skills ---Good mathematical skills ---Good analytical skills ---PC and MS Office knowledge ---Experience with ERP systems - Oracle preferred ---Experience with Oracle 11i MRP Inventory and Purchasing Modules Education and Experience: ---HS or AS degree with 5+ years exp. ---College degree strongly preferred with 1+ years' experience ---APICS Certification preferred Work Environment/Physical Demands: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
