Job Title: Administrator II, System Tier II - InformaticsJob
purposeThe Tier II System Administrator II provides advanced
support of the Company's products and services, complying with the
Company's Quality Management System, and other assigned duties
related to Company's products and services.Duties and
responsibilities
- Managing RHEL6, RHEL7 servers or its downstream server
distributions (CentOS, Oracle Linux, Scientific Linux)
- Managing Windows virtual and/or physical servers.
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Configuring and supporting virtual environments such as VMware,
Hyper V, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, KVM, VSphere, etc.
- Shell Scripting in BASH or Python
- Managing enterprise storage solutions
- Managing hardware in an enterprise datacenter environment
- Experience with Linux (i.e. CentOS, Red Hat and other
distributions)
- Supporting and/or working with Windows 10 and other
releases.
- Supporting Mac IOs a plus
- Configuring and troubleshooting networking.
- Good interpersonal relation skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to converse and write fluently in English
- Self-starter willing to take ownership of projects, multi-task
and clearly document system configurations
- Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration
(U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO
13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws,
regulations and standards.Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science preferred
- Associates degree from a 2-year college or technical
college
- 5 to 7-years of professional experience as Linux System
