Position: Post-Closing SpecialistLocation: Greenville, SC (this position is not remote)Lima One Capital, LLC is searching for a motivated individual who possesses strong values and a great work ethic. The person should also have good communication skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and the capability of handling multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner. This position is responsible for organizing files from multiple offices and assuring timely settlement of whole loan deliveries throughout the month.A generalized list of responsibilities is below:Review critical documents prior to shipment of loan documentationAchieve proficiency in Lima One's loan software and database systemsFile and maintain large quantities of documents for quick referenceEffectively communicate with investors, lenders, and warehouse banks during loan sales and financing sequencesAssist in shipping loan documents to investors upon initial sale of loanClear collateral exceptions delivered by third party custodiansManage, identify, and correct document errors, working with various third parties to come to a solutionDeliver final trailing docs to multiple end investors in a timely mannerComplete lien releases within state compliance requirementsAbility to manage and communicate with vendors for trailing and lien release proceduresQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.College degree - preferred but not requiredMortgage experience - preferred but not requiredEntry level - AcceptableAbility to effectively present complex information in a simple, logical, and brief manner and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and investors.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
