$5,000 Sign on Bonus Eligible Job SummaryThis position, under
the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists in the
procurement, storage, preparation, distribution, and delivery of
medications and other pharmaceutical products to Frye Regional
Medical Center patients in a timely and accurate fashion and in
accordance with established regulations and procedures. -COMPANY

-Essential FunctionsAssists pharmacist(s) in filling medication
ordersPreparing medications and supplies for dispensing,
including:Repackaging bulk medicationsCompounding ointments and
creams, oral solutions, and other medicationsDelivers medications
to patient care areas and retrieves pharmacy related
itemsAccurately restocks automated dispensing cabinets according to
inventory levelsCharges and credits patient profiles for
medications used or returned to the pharmacyAssists with inventory
management by stocking fluids and medications on shelvesInspects
assigned out of date sections and/or nursing units or operating
rooms on a monthly basisAnswering phone calls and handling
questions that do not require pharmacist expertise or judgment and
routing calls to the appropriate party as necessaryMaintains
compliance and understanding of Compounding Sterile Products Policy
and USPPrepares IVs, PCAs, Epidurals in accordance with CSP Policy
and USPAssists with training and orientation of new teammates to

the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)Registration with
