Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at US Engine Valve. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying advanced electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems, as well as improving manufacturing support and maintenance programs.Key Responsibilities

• Design control systems for machine tools, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Select capital equipment for manufacturing processes and improve current machine tools to increase uptime, quality, and productivity.
• Provide engineering support to production equipment and processes, including advising maintenance personnel.
• Establish programs for cost savings activities to support overall plant requirements.
• Advise on improving preventative maintenance programs and consult with suppliers and internal engineers for continuous improvement.
• Authorize and approve changes to machine tool programs, train associates on new technologies and manufacturing processes, and maintain quality management system requirements.
• Participate in teams and champion team activities, track and accumulate cost savings, and develop and maintain PFMEAs as needed.Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.
  • Detailed abilities in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning, with human relations being essential.
  • Mentor and develop maintenance personnel, assist other plants/facilities with technical problems, and be capable of self-managing assigned project tasks.
  • Preferred experience in data-driven analysis and problem-solving methods.Benefits
