Position Scope:Serves as the operational expert for IT End Point Protection Systems (EPPS) and IT Advanced Threat Protection Systems (ATPS - e.g., End-Point / Threat Protection Platform and underlying related Infrastructure, such as Microsoft Defender ATP) to protect Computer hardware such as personal computers, output management, and other IT End User devices (Laptops, Desktops, Apple, Mobile Devices).
Position Responsibilities:Acts as IT systems administrator for organizational information technology infrastructures and the - to be established - Group ATP System.Actively steers the external operations suppliers for the EPPS/ATPS Solution.Acts as 3rd level support for external operation suppliers.Supports complex operational/technical projects and ensures long-term requirements of Advanced Threat Protection Systems and lifecycle planning. Serves as the main point of contact for ATPS Operation topics for the external operations provider performs other duties assigned by Operations Supervisor.Plans, implements, operates and maintains End Point Protection Systems (EPPS) and Advanced Threat Protection Systems (ATPS) that perform to defined IT-Security expectations.Manages security applications in the area of End-point-protection (EPPS) / advanced threat protection (ATPS).Develop and maintain security monitoring, logging, and auditing.Installs and tests required security patches and updates for a wide range of applications in his responsibility area.Monitors system security relating to resiliency, malware intrusion, and patching.Executes assessments for technical controls and identify areas of improvement.Conduct systems testing to ensure that critical vulnerabilities become identified.Implements Advanced Threat Protection systems according to their blueprinted design on Group standard infrastructure.Supports the management and improvement of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention.Supports the orchestration and team alignment to perform risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system, and application level.Prepares reviews of threat modeling exercises and interprets results to management leadership as necessary.Supports the development and implementation of security controls and formulation of operational risk mitigations Involved in a wide range of security issues, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.Researches, evaluates, and recommends new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy. Prepares and presents security reports. Executes recommended security requirements and safeguards.Supports the security test and evaluation through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.Supports and executes reviews of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.Works closely within the global network of Workspace Systems and various IT-Security organizations within Group IT and ensures that standards, operations, processes, and procedures are aligned and follows the directions of the function "Workspace Solutions." Ensures overall adherence to the Group Strategy / Group IT-Strategy & Group IT-Security Strategy.Supports & executes the worldwide rollout and configuration of the Workspace ATP Solution's client-side in alignment with global and local End-Device responsible and operations managers.Acts as an escalation instance for the external operations provider towards the operational lead and other DevOps Teams.Supports complex projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget with only general direction from management. Monitors (operations) reports ensuring (Service Level Agreements) SLAs are met, and all processes are followed as necessary.Participates in Group IT projects.Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. Maintains current knowledge of future innovations, technical trends and applies this to direct future changes. Aligns knowledge of the solutions available to best practices for the business processes.Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.
Position Competencies:Education: BS in Computer Science or Cyber Security (preferred) or the equivalent of 4 years of related experience in IT Security.
