Description:The Greenville and F-16 Communications Manager leads
strategic internal and external communications activities for the
F-16 aircraft program as well as the Greenville, South Carolina
site. The manager is responsible for setting the overall F-16
communications strategy and developing and maintaining overall
messaging for the F-16 and the Greenville site. The manager will
lead a team of communicators, providing mentoring and coaching,
assigning appropriate work assignments and executing the
communications strategy. The candidate must have demonstrated
strategic communications experience along with a reputation for
building strong relationships and working across organizational
boundaries to shape outcomes. The candidate may represent the
company with media inquiries and events, community engagements,
briefings and presentations. In addition, this leader provides
executive communications support to the Vice President of the F-16
Specific responsibilities include:
* Develop integrated communications strategy for the F-16 and the
* Manage development, execution and maintenance of master F-16 and
Greenville message and content packages.
* Lead crisis and issues management for the F-16 and Greenville
site, coordinating as appropriate with stakeholders.
* Manages domestic and international media relations by building
trusted relationships with key F-16-focused and local Greenville
* Partner with Government Relations on civic engagement strategies
* Provide strategic direction for community relations, marketing
and digital media approaches.
* Use metrics, data and feedback to continuously improve, adjust
and drive decisions.
* Previous leadership experience.
* Experience engaging with and developing messages for media as
well as executive and employee communications.
* Demonstrated ability to interface with internal and external
stakeholders at all levels of the organizations.
* Demonstrated storytelling experience landing narratives across
multiple audiences including employees, customers, and media
* Strong Project management Experience.
* Motivated self-starter who performs without a appreciable
direction and works effectively under competing priorities and
* Proven quick study with an attention to detail and a sense of
urgency, strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Ability to collect and interpret metrics to influence strategic
direction in communications plans.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and oral communications skills with
the ability to convey highly complex information in clear,

techniques, including social media and visual storytelling.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position
will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their

alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
