Industrial Maintenance Electrician:
8-hour shifts with rotating schedule
1st Shift: 7A-3P 2nd Shift: 3P-11pm
Pay: $33.05
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic:
8-hour shifts with rotating schedule
1st Shift: 7A-3P and 2nd Shift: 3P-11pm
Pay: $31.44
Industrial Maintenance Electrician Duties:
Use computer to check status of jobs/electrical repairs that need
to be completed.
Inspect and test electrical malfunctions, using testing instrument,
manuals, guides, and blueprints, etc.
Repair or perform preventative maintenance of equipment and
electrical circuits.
Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs.
Fabricate and weld brackets, etc.
Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect
cables and wire between machines and equipment, following manuals,
schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test
equipment. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or
other components for high voltage and low voltage.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors,
and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged
or broken wires and cable using hand tools.
Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction
equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing
equipment.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify
hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to
ensure compliance with codes.
Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of
wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and
safety codes.
Install conduit and other wiring.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using
test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown
and correct the problem.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or
repair electrical wiring, equipment, machines, etc.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could
be hazardous.
Understand and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF)
requirements.
Comply with facility safety requirements including wearing the
required PPE and following all of the safety rules and
procedures.
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Duties: All maintenance mechanics
must pass a Ramsey Mechanical Aptitude test.
Complies with facility safety requirements by adhering to proper
PPE rules by wearing hairnets, ear plugs, gloves, aprons, safety
glasses, steel toed safety shoes and any other items required for
working safely on the job.
Inspects defective equipment and diagnoses malfunctions, using
testing instruments manuals and similar guides using tools ranging
from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws,
drills, and wrenches, too precision measuring instruments.
Disassembles defective or to perform preventive maintenance of
equipment. Process is reversed once repair/reconditioning is
complete. May also involve facility maintenance.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines
continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or
do not deteriorate.
Reconditions and replaces parts, bearing, gears, etc. Installs
special functional and structural parts as well. This may include
facility maintenance (minor carpentry/basic work). Also inspects,
operates, and/or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine
malfunctions.
Change oil, lubricants, batteries, checks compressors, power
supplies, and conveyors of machinery and equipment, as well as
determines mechanical problems and determines how to correct them,
checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as
necessary.
Inspects and verifies dimensions and clearances of parts,
conveyors, and miscellaneous housing ensuring conformance to
factory specifications. Assembles, installs, or pipe systems,
plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
May weld and cut parts using mig/arc welding and cutting equipment.
Inspect manual drives and belts, check fluid levels, replace
filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following
checklists.
Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using
hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
General housekeeping of maintenance area, which may also include
general upkeep of tools and equipment used for repair work
including, cleaning or lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, or
other parts of machinery.
Install, diagnose, and monitor various production lines/press
equipment. Install equipment to facilitate production, as well as
repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and
power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Comply with facility safety requirements including wearing the
required PPE and following all of the safety rules and
procedures.

Recent Technical School Graduates with studies in Electrical
Systems, Mechtronics or Industrial Maintenance highly encouraged to
apply
MUST be able to pass Ramsay Assessment (testing knowledge of
mechanical (60 questions) and electrical (60 questions) skills.
Machining skills (work on a mill, lath, grinder, saw, drill,
etc.)
Welding experience (tig, stick)
Proficient at reading/interpreting blue prints and schematics
(electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
Plumbing skills (threading, soldering joints, etc.)
Basic understanding, troubleshooting and experience with Mechanical
Systems (gears, pulleys, chains, belts, shafts, industrial gear
boxes, water pumps, air compressors, HVAC experience A+)
Basic understanding, troubleshooting and experience with Electrical
Systems (AC circuits-motors and drives, DC circuits-motors and
drives, 480 Volts 3 phase, transformers, control power, relays)
Basic understanding, troubleshooting and experience with Pneumatic
Systems (valves, controls, pressure, flow, cylinders)
Basic understanding, troubleshooting and experience with Hydraulic
Systems (valves, controls, pressure, flow, cylinders)
Basic understanding, troubleshooting and experience with Electronic
Systems (controls, ladder logic, PLC programming, C programming
A+)
Miniumum High School diploma/GED
Good attendance and work ethic.
Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
Self-motivated
Ability to stand 8 hours a day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
Must be able to wear protective equipment as required.
Able and willing to work rotating shift
