Job Title: Senior AV Technician

Location: Greenville, SC

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

About the Position: Our client, a leader in providing cutting-edge audio-visual solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Audio-Visual Technician III to join their team. This mid-level field position is perfect for a technician who is ready to manage small to medium-sized AV projects, ensuring high-quality installations and efficient project completion. The role offers an excellent opportunity to advance in the audio-visual industry by taking on greater responsibilities under the supervision of a Field Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of small to medium-sized AV projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Lead and train a team of 1-3 technicians, focusing on best installation practices.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Participate in project meetings, coordinate with contractors, and report progress to the assigned manager.
• Oversee material management, including distribution, installation, and return of excess materials.
• Perform advanced AV tasks such as setting up and calibrating video conferencing systems, audio equipment, and video scalers.
• Troubleshoot and configure DSP processors and AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX). Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the audio-visual field.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to best installation practices.
  • Ability to effectively lead and train a team.
  • Proficiency in AV troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of industry standards (AVIXA).
  • Understanding of RS232 control, IR control, sound dispersion, microphone pick-up patterns, and networking principles. Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Current Boom/Scissor Lift Certification.
    • Completion of Technician Level 1 criteria.
    • CTS Certification (preferred).
    • Valid Driver's License (required). Key Competencies:
