Processing Technician


Job Title: Processing Technician - Operations

Location: Greenville, SC


Job Overview:

The processing technician is responsible for the tissue processing packaging, and labeling activities in a cleanroom environment. The processing technician will ensure compliance according to standard operating procedures applicable AATB standards and FDA regulations.



Job Requirements:




Performs tissue processing activities that produce the highest level of quality and yield outcomes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

Understands the requirements to properly dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste

Assist in the cleaning and sterilization of all the supplies used during processing

Maintaining the cleanliness of ISO 5, 7, and 8 cleanrooms

Assist in packaging and labeling of allografts to be distributed

Assist in the shipping and receiving of human allografts

Safely handles chemical reagents and biohazardous waste according to standard operating procedures, applicable AATB standards and FDA regulations

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOP's

Performs other duties as directed by supervisor

Job Qualifications:






Standing for long periods of time

Be able to live 25lbs or more

High school diploma/GED required

Medical background preferred but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Constant wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Rigid controlled of sterile environment; possibly work near biomedical and chemical hazards

Frequent (> 75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (pinching, touching, pulling, wrapping)

Background and drug screening may be administered
