Job Title: Desktop Support Technician I

Location: 401 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Asheville NC 28803
Duration: 3-Months Contract to hire

Max Pay rate: $22.00/hr



Is this position remote or in person? In-person What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? Deskside support / IMAC activities / imaging
What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Dependability: both to get work done independently, and for attendance for availability to work scheduled hours. Trusted to work proactively is a key attribute given limited site IT Leadership. Soft Skills is a must for this role. Candidate must have the ability to work with strong personalities. Managing stress while being able to deescalate tense users is a key attribute.
What will the work schedule be for this position? (M-F? 8-5? Overtime? Afterhours?) M-F 8-5 / No OT unless approved / No afterhours Will there be OC (on call) or differentials? No
How many overall years of experience should this person have? 2 preferred, but can be less with IT schooling
Do they need any specific certifications or education? No specific certs / HS diploma or equivalent If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? 22.00 p/hr
How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Only driving will be to the site What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? Preferred within a 30 min drive.
